The bank of poets – the winner is…
The Poetry Contest for “The Bank of Poets” of ilCartastorie is underway, promoted by the Banco di Napoli Foundation, in collaboration with the magazine Clandestino.
The contest was open to anyone under 30 years of age, who writes in Italian or in an Italian dialect. The winner received a cash prize of 1,500 euros and the publication of the work presented.
The poems were evaluated by a jury, presided over by the poet Davide Rondoni, and composed by Maurizio Cucchi and Melania Panico. The aim of the contest is to promote new authors as well as the documents of the Historical Archives of the Banco di Napoli, which were used as the inspiration for the works presented.
First prize in the poetry contest entitled “The Bank of Poets” of ilCartastorie was awarded to GIULIA BRAVI (LEUCONOE).
The jury, made up of Davide Rondoni, Maurizio Cucchi and Melania Panico – chose her poem from among the many other participants in the contest. She received a cash prize of 1,500 euros and publication of her work. Congratulations! The attribution of the first prize was communicated, along with a prize for honourable mention, at the final event dedicated to poetry, and on our Facebook page.
