Special event at the Moltitudini exhibition
On Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. the multimedia exhibition Moltitudini by Antonio Biasiucci (who was present at the event) one of the initiatives organized by ilCartastorie, the museum at the Banco di Napoli Historical Archives.
Toni Servillo was recorded live at the exclusive event on July 14, 2016 as he recited the text “For a Clandestine Theatre” by Neiwiller.
It was an homage, for the first time in Naples, to the great Neapolitan artist who died in 1993, and was a friend to the artist Biasiucci and founder, along with Mario Martone and Toni Servillo, of Teatri Uniti.
Moltitudini, curated by Gianluca Riccio and produced in collaboration with Stefano Gargiulo (Kaos produzioni), and music by Pasquale Scialò, became a work in which words, music and theatre combine with contemporary art: a mix that has always been part of the work of Teatri Uniti and Neiwiller, as well as Biasiucci exhibition. As Biasiucci affirmed:
“I learned how to take photographs for the theatre by participating in a workshop by Neiwiller, who was a theatre director. When I produce an art installation, I carry that experience with me: in observing a space, I ask myself what is truly important for me to add to that space”.
